This is the welcome and general instructions sign posted at the door to the prayer room at Jasmine Lakes Baptist church.
Welcome to the Prayer Room. If you have not already done so, we would request that you remove your shoes. If you want to do this as a sign of reverence and respect for this time of meeting with our Lord, that is wonderful. However, there are some who wish to pray while lying prostrate on the floor. For their benefit and comfort, we would like to keep the carpet as clean as possible so we thank you for this consideration.
Please sign in with your name and the date in our prayer journal. It is provided so that anyone who wishes may leave prayer requests, praise reports or just the musings of your heart as you commune with God in this room. It is open and public for all to see and will be a record of our petitions and more importantly, a written record of how God has answered prayer and worked in our hearts. This journal will be used to encourage our hearts and increase our faith as we contemplate the faithfulness of our Mighty God.

SENIORS REPURPOSING GOLDEN YEARS
Finding New Ways to Remain Vibrant and Connected in Retirement
For a variety of reasons, many seniors are finding that they need or want to stay involved with, and remain a part of, the business world even after officially retiring. Some might have a financial goal to reach, others want to stay connected with other people and some just have way too much energy to spend their days “puttering around the house”. They find that being involved, even on a limited scale, adds new zest to their daily lives and validates all the wisdom and knowledge that they have gained over a lifetime.
One such senior is Narda Tate who has decided to use her proven ability to write and communicate clearly to benefit those in need of written copy. After years of writing letters, manuals, policy statements and other assorted communications in her regular jobs she has now turned her laptop into a tool for her own business. “Who knew that all those years of writing would turn out to be so handy at this time in my life?” she quips.
Golden Words Writing Services is the name of her new business and she looks forward to establishing relationships with the business community here in the Cape Coral / Ft. Myers area.
Ms. Tate has previously lived and worked in postwar Bosnia as well as in Iraq during the war. She recently relocated to Cape
Coral, Florida along with her husband of 43 years. They have 3 children and 13 grandchildren.
